Copyright Law
We are proud to have been recognised for our copyright law expertise by several of SBGK’s staff having been elected as members of the Council of Copyright Experts attached to the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, allowing them to take part in developing numerous expert opinions over the past years.
Among others, SBGK engages in the following as part of rendering its services in this area of specialisation: drafting and commenting use agreements (e.g.: publishing agreements, performing artist agreements, software use agreements); securing the deletion of copyright infringing images, texts, videos, software posted on the Internet; elimination of indexing by Google; copyright related consulting for building website content, and drafting copyright declarations; licensing the use of orphan works; developing rights protection strategies; representation in front of common copyright management bodies, assertion of rights in court or at authorities, including representation, in case of dispute; preparing charge documents to be filed with the National Tax and Customs Administration upon copyright infringement; customs law related interest assertion.
