On May 9, 2019, our business breakfast entitled "Spring Renewal - New Data Protection Requirements from May" took place at the head office of the SBGK Attorneys at Law and Patent Attorneys. The core topic of the event was the modification of the data protection legislation in Hungary in April, the related developments since the GDPR came into force, and the latest case law of the Hungarian data protection and freedom of information authority (NAIH). The speakers, Dr. András György and Dr. Krisztián Osztopáni presented the changes in connection with the camera surveillance, the new data protection requirements for workplace data management, and the expectations of NAIH in its recent decisions regarding the exercise of rights for data controllers.
The lectures were followed by questions from participants and an informal breakfast.
