Jedlik Ányos Prize

Based on the idea of the President of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, Jedlik Ányos Prize was founded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1996 – the centenary year of the Hungarian patent system. It is given to inventors of highly successful activity and also as recognition of an extremely high quality work and efficiency in industrial property activities. Every year five individuals receive the award, based on recommendations by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office as well as by external organizations.
